The pads absolutely do not fit the swiffer head. They are very small and also very thin. The pads pop off very easily. Looks like they were not made big enough to fit. They dry up quickly. I will just go back to down on my knees scrubbing.

We're sorry that this has been your experience, Leigh, and we'll be sure to pass your comments along. We can assure you that our products go through many quality checks to ensure that you can enjoy the best results. While our Wet cloths are designed to dry fast, each cloth should have enough solution to clean about 57 square feet (5.3 m²). As well, our Wet cloths are designed to fit onto the head of our Sweeper. To make sure they stay on while you're mopping, we suggest using both hands with your Sweeper. One hand should be placed on the top of your Sweeper, while the other should be about halfway down. This allows you to put more downward pressure on the Sweeper head to help keep it flat during use. We'd be happy to look into this further for you, so please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 when you have a moment.
wet jet "heavy duty" pads,. i hate these. will never buy again
We're sorry to hear that you feel this way, since a lot of thought goes into the design of our products to ensure that you can use them with ease. We do value feedback such as this, and we'll be sure to pass your comments along to the rest of our team. We'd also be happy to share some tips so that your Wet cloths stay on. Make sure the green strip on the cloths is around the edge of your Sweeper and not on the floor while mopping. This should ensure there's enough material to tuck into the grippers. As well, use both hands while mopping. One hand should be placed on the top of the Sweeper, and the other should be about halfway down. This allows you to put more downward pressure on the Sweeper head to help keep it flat during use. We hope this helps, and please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 if you'd like any further assistance.
The quality of the wet wiping cloth that I bought from Costco is getting worse, the edges of the cloth are thinner than they used to be and they fell off easily.
We're sorry to hear this, Rica, since our products go through many quality checks to ensure that they reach you in the best possible condition. We haven't made any recent changes to our Swiffer Wet cloths, and we'd expect them to continue to provide your floors with an easy clean. We'd be happy to share some tips to help make sure that the Wet cloths stay attached while you're mopping. We suggest checking to see that the green strip on the cloth is around the edge of the mop, not on the floor, so that there's enough material to tuck into the grippers. The wet pad dries out after a minute of use and barely covering a 50 square foot area.
Michael, quality is super important to us, so we're disappointed to hear this! Our products have gone through lots of tests to make sure they're effective, so this isn't what we'd expect. We'd like to get some more info to share with our Quality Team, if you'll give us a ring at: (800) 214-8734 - The Swiffer Team
The pads are too small and do not fit the head. When I finally get the pad to stay on the minute I start to mop the pad comes off! Very frustrating! Waste of money as I am having to use my old style mop to clean my floors.
We're very sorry you had this experience. Make sure that you're not using regular sized mop cloths on our Swiffer XL. There are some floor surfaces that may create more pressure on the cloth when mopping, causing it to release from the grippers. Here are a few other helpful tips: *Make sure the green strip is around the edge of the mop, not on the floor while mopping. This should ensure there is enough material to tuck into the grippers.*For best results, use both hands while mopping. While they do what you say, could you make them a little smaller so I can spend 3 times as long mopping with this junk. Is saving a penny that important...make them to fit the mop, why should I have to use 2, What mop do these fit? Not a fan.
