For hardwood floors, these work like a dream. For laminate flooring, they get the job done but as it dries it does streak a little. overall great though!
Our family really appreciated that the swiffer handle can be shortened by removing handle pieces. This allows are younger children to get in on the clean up process. They love pushing it around the floor, and we love that it's so easy to use that the little ones can handle it, too. We have tile, and a few swipes usually does the trick to get the floor clean. Plus, the new scent is lovely! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Want to know a dirty secret? I recently moved into a new house with tile floors. I wasn't sure how to clean them.. so I never did.... until now. I was so happy to receive the Swiffer Wipes and try them out.The smell is amazing and it's relatively easy and fun to clean. Want to know another dirty secret? My daughter begs me to clean with these now. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The other day my 6 year old son decided that he was going to do a project involving glitter, but didn't think to make sure the lid was on tight and resulted in a very sparkly kitchen table, chair, floor etc... There was glitter everywhere, not one huge pile, just a nice path of glitter. Now he was walking in it and so was the dog, and it was spreading. Ugh. What to do? Wet paper towel? That is a lot of bending. Then I noticed the unopened Swiffer box that I had yet to put away. I ripped it open, hooked it up (it did take me a brain freeze second to figure out how to attach the pad) and went to work. It did a good job of picking up the glitter, I went through a couple of pads, and it did miss a few flakes in the grout, but all in all it was what I needed and I didn't need to bend down to get those thousands of sparkly specks. When I received this product, I was skeptical about using it on my wood floors. I have tried other products that end up looking streaky or dull. This product was different. Not only did it clean the floor streak free, the scent it left behind was amazing! My kids even came home from school and asked what smelled so good in the house!!The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have a lot of wood flooring in my home and I don't know that it is the most economical product for me to use on a weekly basis. Sometimes I have to wash the floors twice a week thanks to the kids and the dog!! ☹️Overall great product and I will be buying it when I run out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I frequently use the Swiffer WetJet for quick cleans, such as pet messes or food spills, and was excited to try a new Swiffer cleaner. One issue I had right at the start is that the Wet Pad Refill fluid spilled all over the floor when opening, so be careful when opening that you are not over a surface that you do not want to clean. The pads are easily installed by pressing the pad into four holes on the mop that hold the pad in place. I used the Wet Pad directly after using the Swiffer Sweeper Dry Pads to clear the area of dust and dirt. The Wed Pad provided a deeper clean and stronger clean smell, working better than a traditional mop to get rid of stains. The tip can be used to scrub, making it easier to get rid of tougher stains. As a combo, the Sweeper Dry Pad and Wet Pad combo created a deeper clean than the Swiffer WetJet alone. However, the fact that the pads need to be changed back and forth to use both makes it a less practical option for quick cleans than the WetJet, which I can typically use for multiple quick cleans before needing to change the pad.
