The bottom of these pads is thicker but the rest is unchanged, so after a few swipes the pads come off. No matter how much I secure them, they come off every time. I saw another review about this issue where Swiffer responded with tips for holding the handle and moving it better. Sorry, but that’s not helpful at all as I have no issues with the regular pads and I use them the same exact way.

We can certainly understand your frustration, Jessica, since a lot of thought goes into the design of our products so that you can use them with ease. We'll be sure to pass this feedback along to the rest of our team. We'd also be happy to share another tip with you, and that would be to make sure the green strip is around the edge of the mop, not on the floor while mopping. This should ensure there's enough material to tuck into the grippers. We'd like to learn more about your experience, so please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 when you have a chance.
Left a disgusting film all over the floor that attracts dirt.
This certainly isn't the experience we'd like you to have, since our products are designed to provide your floors with a great clean. We suggest making sure our products are suitable for your floor type. Our Wet cloths shouldn't be used on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors, as well as non-sealed tiles. It may be helpful to know that streaking and cloudiness can happen if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently. For best results, always sweep or vacuum your floor first before mopping. We'd be happy to look into this further for you, so please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 when you have a chance.
I have been having problems with the wet Swiffer heavy duty mop pad refills. I attach the wet pad to my swiffer mop and each time after 2-4 strokes of my mop, the pad will come unattached from my mop. This is a new problem that I have not ever experienced in the past and is extremely frustrating.
We can certainly understand your frustration, Michelle, since our products go through many quality checks to ensure that you can use them with ease. We'd be happy to share some tips to help keep your Wet cloths attached while you're mopping. We suggest making sure that the green strip on the cloth is along the edge of your Sweeper, not on the floor, so that there's enough material to tuck into the grippers. As well, try using both hands while you're mopping. One hand should be placed on the top of your Sweeper, while the other should be about halfway down. This allows you to put more downward pressure on the mop head to help keep it flat during use. We'd be happy to provide you with any further assistance, so please give us a call at (800) 214-8734when you have a moment.
I would rate this product 5 stars, if I could only get it to stay on the mop. Using these are infuriating. If you use any sort of pressure, the tackiness of the cloth causes it to not slide on the floor, while the mop continues to move, and then pulls off of the mop. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time, but it has happened every single time I have used this product.
We're sorry you had this experience. There are some floor surfaces that may create more pressure on the cloth when mopping, causing it to release from the grippers. If this happens, try turning the cloth over and use the plain white side to clean your floor to get the improved performance of our Heavy Duty Wet cloths. We have tried all sorts of more expensive specialty products to clean up cat urine and this one works better than the rest. I wish I could buy it as a hand wipe version to wipe down the sides of the litter box.
