I wondered if these would really work better than the original dry cloth version... they do! I have dark floors and Golden Retrievers so I need to sweep daily. These pick up all the hair and it sticks in the extra padding so I don't have to go back over the floors for hairs that fly off. These and the pet dusters are perfect for homes with dander and hair from furry friends.
I have cats and thought these would be great for hardwood floors. However, when I opened the box, the overpowering fabreze was more than I could stand. I'll continue to use the regular ones. Why all the perfume smell ??
Cooki, that's a great question. Our Swiffer Heavy Duty Pet Dry sweeping cloths come with the Febreze Odor Defense for those consumers who see a benefit of scent when cleaning up pet messes. While we completely understand that scent and fragrance preferences are very subjective and personal, we'll make sure to pass your comments on to our teams. If you seek an unscented Swiffer Dry Cloth, we do make them. Check out our product line at Swiffer dot com. If you have any questions or if we can help you further, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734.
just moves hair around tried different methods hair flies everywhere whether using sweeping motion (like commercials) or trying to trap hair will go back to broom
Our Dry Cloths are designed to trap and lock dust, dirt, and hair, not just move it around! We’re sorry to hear you’re not getting the easy clean we expect, and we’d like to help. Our Sweeper refills work best on smooth surfaces, and aren’t made to pick up clumps of hair. Please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 so we can learn more about your experience!
My dog sheds like crazy. I don't mind sweeping and vacuuming, but what I do mind is moving my sectional to do so. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I feel like it just pushes the hair around. I really want to like it. Something else I'm not sure about is why they are scented? I don't see how they could be a substitute for actually cleaning your floors and why the scent would be added.
Cleaning is a a breeze with Swiffer. For best results, use the sweeper on a smooth surface. The sweeper locks in dust, dirt and hair, but it’s not intended to clean clumps of hair or whole pieces of things such as cereal. Those items will be "pushed" around. The cloths are scented because consumers told us they liked the fragrance as part of their cleaning routine. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734.
Swiffer is great for my tile floors. I foster dogs and the swiffers pick up the dirt and hair they leave every where. I love that I can clean under the furniture with ease too. I only wish the wet pads lasted throughout the house and that we could get the pet pads for the XL. That would be amazing.
